Zhukovsky International Airport is first in Russia to test autonomous transport for ground operations
The trials confirmed suitability of the platform for operation in an airport environment. Evocargo’s autonomous vehicles are designed to automate logistics in the airport’s ramp zone
The tests focused on performance of the new platform under high-stress conditions at the airport, including round-the-clock activity, peak workload periods, intensive ramp traffic, and severe winter weather. Over the course of the trials, the platform operated for 368 hours, completed 150 test routes, covered 225 kilometers, and was tested in temperatures ranging from -26°C to +31°C
