In June 2023, Wildberries deployed a first Evocargo N1 truck at its distribution center in Elektrostal, near Moscow. Six months later the company scaled up to 15 autonomous platforms operating around the clock at the site.
These vehicles have already transported over 190,000 goods units along five routes, accumulating more than 5,000 kilometers on green (electric) fuel. Recently, Wildberries has announced further expansion of its autonomous transport initiative. Evocargo’s electric trucks now operate at the warehouse complex in Koledino, moving goods between warehouse blocks for processing and sorting.
The Evocargo vehicles reduce internal logistics costs, enhancing the efficiency of warehousing and logistics processes. The autonomous trucks make 250 trips per day along eight routes with total length of up to 10 kilometers. More than 10 trucks are in operation at a time. The partnership between Wildberries and Evocargo represents Russia's first commercial project with 24-hour autonomous transport operations.
The fully electric N1 is environment-friendly with safety ensured by a comprehensive multi-sensor perception system, supported by advanced machine learning algorithms. The vehicle can determine its position with accuracy, plan safe speeds, anticipate movements based on the environment, and perform standard transport maneuvers such as reverse parking and obstacle avoidance.
A key aspect of Evocargo’s service is its commitment to eliminating combustible fuels. By running on electric power, these trucks contribute to Evocargo’s long-term ESG strategy aimed at reducing CO2 emissions.
