Evocargo and Russian Post deploy breakthrough transport technology
Evocargo is installing a highly automated electric transport solution at a key logistics hub of Russian Post, the country’s national postal service.
The installation at Vnukovo-2 logistics center, next to Moscow’s Vnukovo airport, is the first of its kind for Russian Post. The company, which serves tens of millions of customers each year, views the introduction of efficient AI-based logistics solutions as a logical and necessary step for ensuring the quality of its domestic and international postal services.

Postal items are transported around Vnukovo-2 by Evocargo N1 autonomous electric truck. Evocargo’s autonomous logistics services are already used by a number of large Russian companies in various sectors, including Wildberries, Sweet Life, Gazpromneft-Snabzhenie, Rusklimat, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, PEC, Marvel Logistics, SIBUR, and many others.

The N1 is an electric-powered, environment-friendly vehicle equipped with a fifth-generation autopilot system, developed in-house by Evocargo specialists. Safe operation is ensured by a sophisticated multi-sensor perception system, which uses the latest machine learning algorithms to accurately determine position, plan safe speeds, and predict movement based on its surroundings.
Use of autonomous vehicles helps to eliminate human error in routine tasks, ensuring that company operations run smoothly. High quality of domestic and international service is a priority for Russian Post and they require integration of modern technologies into transportation and logistics.
Igor Tushakovsky
Deputy CEO of Russian Post
We are proud to be deploying the latest 'unmanned' technologies and digital solutions in the real world. This is the first project by Russia’s biggest communications company for automation of its logistics processes. Our service contributes to the transformation of Russian Post into a digital enterprise. As well as economic benefits, such as reduced operating costs, autonomous electric transport improves the company’s control over its transport operations through electronic data collection and analysis. It also contributes to environmental sustainability and the ESG agenda.
